staging- step 1

I had to get my house ready to take a few pictures for the real estate book. The house looks great. Its just that I can’t find where I threw everything.

A glimpse of what I’ve been doing…

I had vacation in June and bought a house and now I have the gargantuan task of packing up. Jess and the kids were up last week so we had a memory filled week at camp and Amanda’s pool. Fun, fun.

The man does not come with it!

Summer fun!

June has been busy around here. I had a lovely vacation in June and decided to look at houses in Hampden. Lo and behold… I bought a house in Hampden and will be an owner of two homes in early August. Needless to say, the packing up of my”dream home” is emotional, both exciting and poignant. But it is a start of new page in my life and I look forward to the change with anticipation and excitement..

It has been so much fun watching the kids explore, romp, swim  and work on their boating skills at camp. This is what I’ve been looking for pretty much my whole adult life. A place of peace and fun. The simple life…with all the amenities.

The Seattle cousins came for a visit. Zoe and Maggie were a little more subdued but they got right into the melee. The bath in the lake brought mixed reviews.
