Holiday happenings!

New Years Eve was rung in with “the works” Noisemakers and umbrellas in the drinks! Over by 7pm and the boys loved it.!

Our family Christmas was the next weekend. The excitement was palpable.  Patiently waiting for presents….

parties and fun activities are all what makes it a special time. The work party was a hoot. Regifting swap kept us laughing. Thanks, Team!

Cardiac rehab even got into the holiday spirit and graciously donned the Santa hats. Way to go!

We had weird weather before christmas. Instead of a blizzard we had rain and wind …and a power outage. We sang christmas carols around the lantern.

Winter already!

Sorry for the lack of postings. I’ve been clearing out my Old Town house(thanks, kids) and filling up my Hampden house and clearing out my Hampden house….

Closing was Nov 16,Yay!

Then it was Thanksgiving.We did the tree decorating early so all could participate and now I get to do Christmas for  weeks. Love it!

end of summer already????

This has been a busy summer and , of course, it has flown by.

I bought a house in June during my week vacation

July vacation Jessica and brood came up to Maine. Fun at camp and Amanda’s pool.

Closed on my new house on August 7 and have been moving things ever since

August vacation I went to Long Island with Amy and Jessica and the grandkids. We had a great reunion of sorts. Denis flew in from California and all the NY-NJ clan gathered in Sound Beach. The cousins (3rd generation) had a great time. 4 out of 12 were girls and average age was 5 so you can imagine the activity. I ended my vaca with a visit with my childhood friend, Joan. She happens to have a lovely summer home in Bridgehampton-a far cry from Miller Place. We enjoyed sharing stories and we were 16 again…Great time!!!

September has been more moving, sending our 3    5 yr olds to kindergarten. Milestones each day!

I have been honing my skills. Mowing the lawn, drilling holes in the wall and discovering the joy of the transfer station. Life is good.
